Since 1999, when he left a management position in industry, Michael has provided transformative massage service and body treatments. He currently specializes in shamanic bodywork, Hawaiian Temple Lomi Lomi, and aquatic movement. Deeply intimate, inviting profound trust in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms, this work opens the receiver to the incredible power of their own innocence, the source of divine grace and healing within. Michael also offers an eclectic blend of massage modalities, intuitively suiting the approach to the need at hand. Under Michael's care, clients often comment that they feel as if they were being played like a musical instrument, that they were involved in a dance, that they were transported back to the womb, that they felt like a mermaid, or that they were able to let go of that which no longer served them.
Since 2004 , under the direction of Michael Buck, of the Vedic Conservatory, Michael incorporated Thai Massage into his practice, adding Thai stretches to his contemporary massage offerings as well as offering Thai sessions.
In 2005, Michael studied with Ellen Watson, a 26 year veteran of the Esalen Massage Crew, finding an affinity with the style and influences of Esalen.
In 2007, Michael came to Miami, to work at the prestigious Educating Hands School of Massage, as a teacher and as Director of Education. There he met dozens of incredibly gifted teachers and therapists. Their influence is indelibly etched in his work today.
One such teacher is Sandy Freidland, Developer of Multi Dimensional Movement Arts¨. MDMA¨ is a water based modality that frees the body to move in space while the muscles can release their normal tone to more readily accept the work. This work is deep, profound, sensual and intoxicating. It influences all of Michael's work, both water and table massage.
Also in 2007, Michael began working with Chet Alexander, founder of Kabbalistic Shamanism. Chet is Michael's own shaman and guide to the incredible world of shamanic healing work.
In 2008, Michael began working with the Jairo Cardona and Dennis Stovall of Sacred Bodywork, proteges of Sandy Friedland, Michael Buck and graduates of Educating Hands. This was his first exposure to Lomi-Lomi, an early influence on Esalen and a powerful spiritual and energetic modality rooted in native Hawaiian philosophy and healing arts. Their influence has shaped Michael's exploration of shamanic bodywork forms and of the sacred spaces in which that work is performed. Dennis and Jairo spread light and love wherever they go.
Michael has provided over four thousand hours of massage and body treatments. Most of his massages are 90 minutes in length, with many clients preferring two hours.

Curriculum Vitae
Michael is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, with Florida and Delaware Massage Licenses. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Science(1981) as well as a Master of Education(1982) in Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina. In 1998, Michael was awarded a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. Michael is a current member of Mensa. He has taught Middle School, High School, Community College and University courses as well as a Popular Professional CEU Course in Ethics for Massage Pracitioners, an adult education course in Couples Massage and, currently, teaches Kinesiology in the Massage Licensing Course at Educating Hands School of Massage, where he also serves as the Director of Education. Michael's past occupations include computer consulting, custom database development, marketing and brand management. After training for massage, Michael spent 3 years working in an upscale Day Spa in Trolley Square, providing massage and body treatment services to a most saavy Spa clientele in Wilmington, Delaware. Since then, Michael has maintained a private practice. Currently Michael lives and practices in South Miami Beach.
